I am a filmmaker by profession. Born in the then remote Dilpa Bhojpur to my parents, the late Nar Bahadur Rai and Mrs. Bhaiswari Rai, I had a sense of entrepreneurship from my childhood despite being the offspring of a British Army (Lahure) family.

I own a movie production company and an engineering consulting and construction company. I wanted to break away from the traditional Lahure path and pursue something different. Although I aspired to be an entrepreneur, I have always had a soft corner for the poor and needy.

Nepali Movie Producer

Producer is a released in 2014 Nepali film directed by Janak Deep Parajuli. The movie is for parodying Nepali movie field and mirrors the pain, dream, and the environment of movie making in Nepal. In light of this it portrays the lives of producers and their experiences when attempting to create a successful movie.
